Since his early days in the mid-'70s with Jules & The Polar Bears, Jules Shear has been a critics' darling. For good reason: The guy seems incapable of writing a bad song. Known for his catchy melodies (he penned "All Through The Night" for Cyndi Lauper) and insightful lyrics, the 47-year-old Shear always puts on an interesting show. Even when he's between songs, onstage Shear remains the quintessential storyteller.
