Sights & Sounds

Representatives from NFL Films will discuss the technical aspects of filmmaking. Topics will include current trends in non-linear standard and Hi-definition editing, FIRE, 16mm and 35mm film transfer, and the latest production and post options in filmmaking. Also, Kevin W. Walker from Millennium Sound Studios will discuss how to achieve the best sound for film productions with varying budgets.

Leslie Esdaile-Banks of the Ben Franklin Competitive Edge Loan Program will discuss how to support your film project with a business plan, and other topics related to proposal writing.

A panel of editors will discuss and answer questions on various types of editing and filmmaking. Panel members will include Ann Tegnell, Dan Lantz of Impulse Creative, Brian Gannon of Center City Film & Video, Sharon Mullally of Shared Vision Productions, Chris Kenworthy of Cubist Post & Effects, Bob Lovejoy of Shooters Post, Don Argott of Mini Mace Pro and Rodney Whittenberg of Melody Vision, among others.
