OK kids, we’re back in business, now take thou booty to the music!

Music, poetry, storytelling and dance light up The Kimmel Center for their Summer Solstice Celebration. It lasts all damn night, starting with The Philadelphia Orchestra, some piano wizardry from Lang Lang and his daddy, Guoren Lang. By the end of the night you will have seen the Ryan Irish Dancers, The Pennsylvania Ballet, PHYREnEYCE poetry and about 22 other performances (see www.kimmelcenter.org for the complete schedule). Ah, but it’s at 1 o’clock in the morning that hip-hop aficionados should stand at attention. Thee Phantom takes the stage in the Innovation Studio with members of The Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra accompanying him on strings. Haven’t heard of him? Well his single, “A Million MC’s,” hit number one on WSIA-FM in Staten Island, N.Y. Staten Island? Can we get some rotation on Power or The Beat? How ’bout y’all call and request it? So come as you please, leave when you get sleepy or stay the full 12 hours, but whatever you do, make sure to catch Thee Phantom in action. Fri., June 21-Sat., June 22, The Kimmel Center, 260 S. Broad St., 215-893-1999, 8 p.m.-8 a.m., $10 at the door, no advanced sales.

Change is in the air. House Party at Fluid is no more. In its place, The Great White Hype. Each and every Saturday night, rotating DJs Train, Adam Bomb, Excel, Ced One and Kwestion pack the place with house, hip-hop and a smidgen of reggae. Sat., June 22, Filo's, 408 S. Second St., 215-238-0151, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., $5.

The more things change... Candyland and the Squarebiz crew switch days but keep the venue intact with the special added bonus of having Black Lily upstairs. That's right, the sweet sounds of Candyland debuted this past Tuesday at The Five Spot. Enjoy the Lilies upstairs and take in the turntable antics of DJs ?uestlove, Cosmo Baker, Joey Blanco and Brendan in the den. Tue., June 25, The Five Spot, 5 S. Bank St., www.squarebiz.org, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., $7 before midnight, $10.

And now, cap off the week at The Head Nodders Ball with performances from Reef, Side Effect, Supreem Da Regulata, 20th Street Moroccos, Basement Brothers, Dusted Dons and Timmy Grins with Phillyhiphop.com's Funk Wizard Snow hosting and DJ Shorty Black on the wheels of steel. Wed., June 26, La Tazza, 108 Chestnut St., 9 p.m.-2 a.m., $5.
