Nov. 14-20, 2002 Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsSo, you obviously want to see what the critics think of the new Harry Potter movie before paying money for the tickets. Believe me. It's worth $20 a ticket. Daniel Radcliffe (13) plays famous Harry Potter, the boy who escaped Lord Voldemort. Emma Watson (12) plays the clever and bossy Hermione Granger who is one of Harry's best friends. Rupert Grint (14) plays Harrys friend Ronald Weasley, one of the seven Weasley children. Bonnie Wright (11) plays Rons sister Ginny Weasley and it is her first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Tom Felton (15, The Borrowers, Anna and the King and TV series Second Sight), plays Harrys worst enemy at Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy.Enough about the cast. I'll tell you about the movie. Harry was warned by Dobby the house elf not to return to school. Then on Sept. 1, Harry can't get back onto Platform 9 3/4 to board the train to Hogwarts. Harry's arm becomes rubber when Professor Lockheart tries to mend a broken arm. Then the Chamber of Secrets is opened. Students at Hogwarts believe Harry to be the heir of Slytherin. Is he? Will they be able to revive all of the petrified people? Will Harry be able to defend himself against Lord Voldemort with only an old hat and a bird? Well, I could tell you, but you should go see the movie. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will be in theaters on Friday, Nov. 15.
