Just when you thought it was safe to take a break: Kaboom! The nightlife is calling. Touring in support of its latest release, The Chosen Few, Boot Camp Clik (pictured) touches down as part of The Lyricist Lounge Club Series Presents at the TLA. Yes, it's Buckshot and The Cocoa Brovaz, a.k.a. Smif N' Wessun. And that's not all she wrote; special guests Das Efx open up the show alongside Philly brethren Naam Brigade. Mon., Jan. 6, 8 p.m., $10/$15, TLA, 334 South St., 215-336-2000, www.electricfactory.com. P.S.: Win free tix at www.goodiegoodie.com! And as always, slide next door to The Remedy for after-action with DJ Cosmo Baker on the ones and twos. Mon., Jan. 6, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., free before 11 p.m., $5, Fluid, 613 S. Fourth St., 215-629-0565, theremedy@aol.com.

Missed the first go-'round of The Beat Society? Shame, shame, but have no fear, round two is coming atcha full throttle with a long A-list. First, there's ABB Records' Beatmakers Fusion Unlimited on MPC 3000, A Touch of Jazz's Ken Wood on MPC 2000XL, The Roots' Chaos on MPC 2000 and Brainstorm on ASR-10. That's the beatmakers, now here's the mic-check squad: Lady Alma, El Da Sensai and Kamachi. And last but not least, it's DJs Sat-One and Diplo carefully handling the wax rotation. Wed., Jan. 8, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., $5, The Five Spot, 5 S. Bank St., 215-574-0700, www.beatsociety.com.

Kicking off a new partnership, Squarebiz has joined forces with Soul Travelers to bring you a revamped edition of The Joint. Yep, DJs Joey Blanco and Brendan are setting up shop at 720 (formerly Brave New World -- and the new BNW is called Club Beyond, located at the old Eighth Street Lounge/Gasoline). Enough information or what?! Oh, and the reason The Joint switched locations in the first place is that the lovely 1616 closed its doors. Whew! Fri., Jan. 3, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., $5, 720, 720 Arch St.,squarebizdishes@aol.com.

More news on all these club switcharoos next week!
