Do you have a desire to hand-crank an antique John Deere tractor? How about getting behind the wheel of a 1938 Ford Woody Wagon? Well, though you might not be exhilarated by concept cars or a mint condition Ferrari, the 54th Annual Antique Car Show & Flea Market will be a mini-daydream come true for enthusiasts of unusual automotives. This Sunday, the fields of Linvilla Orchards will be filled with more than 250 cars, from a restored 1913 Model T Ford to a ¹35 Cadillac Coupe and a ¹58 Chevy Impala. Awards in many different classes and divisions will be handed out to the best-maintained cars, and a flea market will sell not only car parts but also furniture and other crafts. If you aren¹t up to ogling the restored antiques roadsters, you can enjoy face-painting, visit a petting zoo or eat fresh-baked pies and farm-produced food. For those who want to explore the 300 acres of orchard, tractor tours will be available to help show you the sights.
Antique Car Show & Flea Market, Sun., May 18, 10 a.m., Linvilla Orchards, 137 W. Knowlton Rd., Media, Pa., 610-876-7116, www.linvilla.com.
