More stuff going on this week

Art

The Brandywine River Museum hosts its 32nd annual Antiques Show, with dealers from across the U.S. offering American and English furniture, glass, folk art, quilts and more. An exhibit called "The Art and Design of Antique Smoking Pipes" accompanies the show and runs through July 27. Sat.-Mon., May 24-26, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., $7, U.S. Route 1 and PA Route 100, Chadds Ford, 610-388-2700.

Dance

Bald Mermaid Rebecca Sloan closes out the New Edge Residency performance series at the Community Education Center with an evening of new choreography, the three evils, performed by herself, Megan Bridge, Emily Hubler, David Konyk and fellow Mermaid Katie McNamara. Fri.-Sat., May 23-24, 8 p.m., $8-$10, 3500 Lancaster Ave., 215-387-1911.

Art

Only a week and change left to catch "The Community of Artists," a six-gun salute to work on wood from the galleries south of South Street (B Square, Da Vinci Art Alliance, Dupree Gallery, Hand Impressions, Spector and Zonk). They're calling it "the first-ever organized crawl" of these neighborhood galleries. Through May 31. See Listings for individual gallery information.
