Kim Richey

Her last time through town, Kim Richey shrunk the cavernous (and none-too-full) TLA down to coffee-shop size with her winning stage presence and tough-but-pretty songs. Even more than a great singer/songwriter, Richey seems like someone you'd love to share a beer with after the show; if she's got any idea how talented she is, she sure doesn't show it. Two nights at the Tin Angel should give you ample opportunity to get up close and personal, and maybe give her enough time to line up a duet partner for "Electric Green," the standout track of Rise (Lost Highway), one of last year's best albums.

Mon., June 9 and Tue., June 10, 8:30 p.m., $18, with Felix McTeigue (Mon.) and Jenifer Jackson (Tue.), Tin Angel, 20 S. Second St., 215-928-0978.
