As the world turns, a Philly MC returns from his self-imposed musical exile in Germany. Philadelphia’s own Grand Agent, a.k.a. Jared Taylor, is touching down in town to celebrate the release of his latest album, Fish Outta Water (Soulspazm). How’s this for international? Google him on the Web and most of the search results returned are in any language but English. But does he have a stateside fan base? We’ll find out on Friday. Expect mic checkin’ from the Agent himself, along with Hezekiah, Gos, Reef the Lost Cauze and Chief Kamachi (ooh la la! -- we want to see a longer set than Beat Society allowed a little while back), and Ill Vibe’s DJ Statik. Thu., July 3, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., $7, The Five Spot, 5 S. Bank St., 215-574-0070.

DJs Brendan and Joey Blanco soulfully wreck the decks at The 4th of July Celebrity Jam, a party in honor of the platinum powerhouse production tandem

Andre Harris and Vidal Davis (the cats who ditched Jazzy Jeff and A Touch of Jazz to make their own loot -- hush, hush, we wouldn’t want to start any rumors). The three most stylish ladies take home a bottle of Cristal (although in this economy, it might be smarter to hand out some Martini & Rossi). Fri., July 4, 10 p.m.-2 a.m., women free before 11 p.m., $10, Envy, 27 S. Bank St., 215-922-3020.

The MTV2 Sucker Free Concert Series delivers a big ol’ free show with David Banner, Gang Starr (again!), hometown MC Freeway, Joe Budden and DJ Rob Deniro. Hurry and get your complimentary tickets at The Electric Factory box office or take your chances winning them on Power 99 or The Beat. Sat., July 5, free, The Electric Factory, Seventh and Willow sts.

The new Klasik Sundayz monthly just morphed into a weekly jam. DJ Trueself hosts performances by classic hip-hoppers and old-school legends while promising the "hottest joints in hip-hop history." In the near future, expect Brand Nubian, Blackmoon, Heather B., Inspectah Deck and more. Also: Back 2 Basics Real Raps TV, the WB’s new in-the middle-of-the-night hip-hop show (hosted by EZ Jase), will be in the house and taping. (The show airs at 3 a.m. Saturdays.) Sun., July 6, 8 p.m.-1 a.m., $5, Dowling Palace, Broad and Thompson sts., 215-819-6885,
