Peaches operates on a couple of levels. She can fill the front row with horndogs eager to service her dildo and still make the wallflowers nod at her clever rhymes and self-assured flow. Her second album, Fatherfucker (Kitty-Yo) isn't as revelatory as The Teaches of Peaches, but it turns more tricks. She makes some noise ("I Don't Give A ," "Rock 'N' Roll"), chills out ("I'm the Kinda," "Stuff Me Up") and starts some low-key chants about gender-blind threesomes ("I U She") and bend-over-boyfriend lovin' ("Back it Up, Boys"). It's not so fun when she plays dumb; Iggy Pop's guest shot on "Kick It" sounds better as an idea than as a song. But when Peaches gets stoopid on the equal-opportunity party jam "Shake Yer Dix," the horndogs and the wallflowers can get down together. "Are the motherfuckers ready for the fatherfuckers? Are the fatherfuckers ready for the motherfuckers?" Peaches asks the horndogs, then answers herself: "No." But she's just gonna bring her beats till even the wallflowers are ready and willing.
