So you're still recovering from the weekend, yet you've toiled awayfor eight long hours. This Monday, take it easy. Get some comfort food, put your feet up and be entertained. The Last Mondays pasta and performance series, organized by Big House (plays & spectacles) guru Mark Lord since 1994, keeps people coming back with its warm, inviting vibe. At Plays & Players Club, the pasta flows freely and the art comes naturally. A vegetarian pasta dinner starts it all off (included in the low, low admission price of five bucks), but it's the performances that really satisfy. This Monday's a typically, delightfully diverse lineup. Deb Disbrow will reprise excerpts from her 2003 Fringe show, These are the Deb Tapes. Another Fringe favorite, dancer and aerialist extraordinaire Janette Hough, will perform feats of some kind of daring. Writer Kathryn Baecht will read, drummer Toshi Makihara will keep the beat. Cutely named but fiercely talented rock band The Snow Fairies round out the bill, and actress Charlotte Ford will emcee. Eat up!
Last Monday, Mon., Oct. 27, 7 p.m., $5, Plays & Players Club, 1714 Delancey St. Reserve tickets by calling 610-526-6202 or buy at the door.
