They say diamonds are a girl's best friend, but to be perfectly honest I much prefer jade or turquoise. Of course, a pair of nicely cut diamond earrings with a matching tennis bracelet does have a certain charm to it, but I'd be just as happy with a bit of green or blue stone worked into silver hanging from my wrist. Honest! In any case, regardless of what your preferences are, the International Gem and Jewelry Show, featuring an incredible selection from both fine and costume jewelry specialists, should be sure to fit your accessory needs.

Take a peek at the latest looks in eye-catching jewelry styles straight off the runway to find out what's hot for the summer; alternatively, marvel at historical pieces from times far removed from our own and at the antique pieces your great-grandmother would have worn. The International Gem and Jewelry Show is one of the largest exhibitions of gems and jewelry in the world, and showcases a variety of exotic jewels, including black diamonds, and various beads and minerals.

The show also includes the Riches and Power exhibit, which gives attendees a glance at priceless historical pieces, and the Fabulous Jewelry of the Stars exhibit which features collections from a few celebrity favorites, including Jackie O and Marilyn Monroe.
