If you could crush the smarmy smarts of Pamela Stephenson, the fashionista bitchiness of Joan Rivers and the perf-art sass of Ann Magnuson into one "airline stewardess to the stars" you'd find the result Caroline Reid -- or as she's known to countless BBC freaks, Pam Ann. Reid's caustic, couture- and cash-conscious character -- circa the miniskirts and Mary Quant makeup of 1968 -- has been played, to maximum rude effect, in several one-woman spectaculars. Always in-flight and always blunt, Come Fly With Me, Busy Busy Busy and Pam Ann's Mile High Club became designer-label-only destination points for any Brit looking for a kick in the (first cl)ass. With a maxim of "I'd rather cry in a Rolls-Royce than be happy on a bike" and skirts higher than her hair, Pam Ann's become the toast of the Ab Fab set, serving private-planed parties thrown by the likes of Kevin Spacey and Elton John. Back on the ground and amid the commoners, she'll bring Pam Ann's Come Fly With Me to land at the Troc with the promise of her stock silliness and chilly crustiness on cruise control.
Pam Ann's Come Fly With Me, Fri., April 9, 9 p.m., $13, The Trocadero, 1003 Arch St., 215-922-LIVE.
