naked city
One question sprung to mind when Terrell Owens tore down a fan's sign in Cleveland on Sunday: WWRLHDTH? As in, what would Ray Lewis have done to him?
Since the dude's been stewing in the syphilis capital of the world for nine years now, the possibilities -- up to and including pulling a shiv out of his sock -- were endless. Factor in Owens' off-season dis of the Ravens, and bad blood doesn't even come close to describing what they're bringing to the Linc. But here's the rub: Owens will steer way clear of Lewis' between-the-hashes killing field. That may keep T.O. safe, but it'll make things more than precarious for one Donovan McNabb, who'll become Lewis' default target. And don't think for a minute that the Ravens D won't knock him around.
Now, vengeance isn't motivation enough to win in this league. The Ravens, however, are well-coached, and they've managed to make Chester Taylor a serviceable replacement for Nino Browner, Jamal Lewiswho's serving the end of his coke-call suspension.
Last week, they took care of an inferior opponent (Buffalo), something the Birds could barely do in Cleveland. Considering the questions about Brian Westbrook's condition, this is a really bad time to be facing a legitimate defense. So bad, in fact, that the streak ends on Halloween
Ravens 17, Eagles 13.
