Their last recorded collaboration, 2003's quartet session Line On Love (Palmetto), found altoist/clarinetist Marty Ehrlich and bassist Michael Formanek expressing a more languorous, sensual side to their improvisations. No telling if that romanticism will carry into this duo performance, but given the evidence of their long history of collaboration, they're sure to create something to embrace.
