They heard Prague was lovely this time of year, so they thought, why not put on a show? Theatre Exile and Beautiful Confusion Productions will stage John Patrick Shanley's the dreamer examines his pillow at the Prague Fringe Festival at the end of the month. Shanley (Doubt) dissects Tommy and Donna's troubled relationship in "raw, uncensored" fashion. Philly can send the crew off well by attending two pay-what-you-can performances of the play this weekend.

ART

Stop in any time after noon on Saturday to a building-wide exhibition in South Kensington, where 13 local artists swing open their studio doors for the public. Besides the group show at 1801 N. Howard St., visitors can wander the rest of the spaces. Later on: a cookout, music and screening of a video project by 1801 artists Jon Schoff, Carrie Cook and John Gibbons.
