Monster Mash

standing-room only

Willing to get your hands dirty for charity? Oh yeah, well how about your feet? Beaulieu Vineyard, one of the Napa Valley's recognized wine producers, is relying on you to stand up and be counted. This month, the winery folk have gathered armfuls of grapes and hopped on a large bus to tour the country, heading from Cali to Las Vegas and inviting the public to get stomping at every stop on the route. Tomorrow, they arrive here, where they'll allow two hours of grape-stomping and wine-related activities, such as tastings and beginner's lessons in wine trivia. (Prizes, likely swiggable ones, will be awarded for true wine obsessiveness.) And all proceeds from the sticky mess will go to ActionAids, a local nonprofit that offers companionship and information for AIDS sufferers. Red ribbons are pretty and all, but nothing shows your commitment to the cause like staining your toes to a matching shade.

Grape Stomp, Fri., June 17, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Hyatt at Penn's Landing, 201 S. Columbus Blvd., visit www.BVinVegas.com for more information.
