BOOKS
Learn how to shoot that Dukes of Hazzard lunchbox to bring out its best features or how to place your vintage Pumas in the most flattering light. If you're wondering why your goods aren't moving on eBay, Daniel and Sally Weiner Grotta say it might be the photos you're posting. The pro photogs have written Shooting for Dollar$: Simple Techniques for Greater eBay Profits, a guide to making the crap you don't want anymore the crap that someone would pay cold hard cash for.

Shakespeare-in-the-park lovers can get it cheap for the next couple of weeks, while Delaware Shakespeare Festival puts on Love's Labour's Lost on the grounds of Archmere Academy in Claymont. Tickets are only 7 bucks, and picnics are welcome.

FUNDRAISER
DaVinci Art Alliance's Bella Vista building could use some repairs, so the 74-year-old artist-run organization is asking for help. This Saturday, those who donate some time and $25 to the cause will see DVAA's current exhibition related to language and the written word, as well as the work of nouveau pop artist Karey Maurice, who'll appear in person. The gig, which also features a silent auction, will be catered by neighboring fooderies Cucina Forte, Whole Foods and DiBruno Brothers. Mmm.
Sat., July 30, 6-9 p.m., $25, 704 Catharine St., 215-574-1418.
