Top 5 Sexiest Wait StaffsGood Enough To Eat
1 Bleu 227 S. 18th St., 215-545-0342
The Continental and its midtown brethren tried to hire Philly's sexiest servers, but a few slipped through the fork tines and ended up at this Rittenhouse favorite. Blond bombshells Katy Linck and Jamie Salinger work the dining room like a runway, proving that knockouts really do exist outside of Starr-approved dining circles.
2 Cuba Libre 10 S. Second St., 215-627-0666
Spicy dishes are best served by sizzling waiters. The firecrackers at this Old City hot spot wear tall, dark and handsome well, but the best-tipped are in full employment on the weekends. Venture in on a less-than-bumping weeknight and the lookers will be lukewarm at best.
3 Mercato 1216 Spruce St., 215-985-2962
Contrary to popular gayborhood belief, the hottest men aren't taking orders at Bump. Around the corner from the rainbow romper room sits a BYOB stud heaven staffed by an army of demigods. Manager Ed Hackett says his selective hiring process assures the waiters are at least as hot as the food and that they apply hair product religiously. Choice angelic waiter: Nick Maldonado. (Sorry to burst your bubble, boys, but he's straight.)
4 The Latest Dish 613 S. Fourth St., 215-629-0565
Gorgeous should be on the menu. This fusion fixture, located beneath Fluid nightclub, features some of the foxiest servers that side of South Street. Taming the food fantasies of the sweaty post-club crew is the goal of these beautiful creatures, and they leave not a sensory table unturned.
5 Chestnut Street Triple Sec(xy) Devil's Alley, 1907 Chestnut St., 215-751- 0707; Drinkers Pub, 1903 Chestnut St., 215-564-0914; Noche, 1901 Chestnut St., 215-568-0551
Feel like bar hopping? This Rittenhouse trio is easy on the eyes and the gas tank. They're all on the same block, so you can drink in the sultry company of Kim Pierce and Emily Smith at the sinful Devil's Alley, find liquid hotness on tap at Drinkers and stumble drunkenly over to Noche for a nightcap of drool-worthy waitresses. No beer goggles necessary.
