Wu-Tang Clan

hip-hop

The RZA is a respected shaman, author, producer (most recently, Raekwon's "State of Grace" from Cuban Linx II) and soundtracker (from the looks of Derailed and Kill Bill). Ghostface Killah's hard, fluid Fishscale will be this winter's hottest hip-hop CD. Raekwon and Genius are up to their necks in Wu Latino tracks, and Method Man is a clown who every once in a while has an acting gig—for commercials, for Fox. What the hell does Wu-Tang Clan need to reunite for? For the memory of Ol' Dirty Bastard, their late great Wu partner who died last year. And? Because, like A Tribe Called Quest, Fugees and Public Enemy, though their individual members can make great art on their own (save Flavor Flav), Wu-Tang Clan, all together, still ain't nuthin' to fuck wit.

Fri., Feb. 10 (sold out) and Sat., Feb. 11, 8:30 p.m., $45, Electric Factory, 421 N. Seventh St., www.electricfactory.com.
