A Night of Terror 2

Shubin Theater, April 12-16, $10, 407 Bainbridge St., www.themhstudio.com

Any true horror fan knows "I'll be right back" is the kiss of death. Better hold your tongue en route to see the second installment of this gory theater experience. A Night of Terror 2 showcases two live skits and a brain-splattering film by Michael "Miker" Heyniger, who admits to having a "real thing" for puppets and B-movie horror.

This blood-and-guts-meets-Sesame-Street extravaganza features torturer extraordinaire The Dismemberer showing off his new saw tricks, a giant killer squirrel gathering human heads and the HypnoThriller machine, which hypnotizes unsuspecting prey and brings to life their worst nightmares. "Don't wear white!" warns Heyniger on behalf of the puppets. "It shows stains. Particularly red ones."
