Open for about a month, this tiny lunch-and-dinner spot's menu is filled with everything from Malaysian noodle stir-frys to mussels with lemongrass. The beverage list boasts bubble teas and syrupy Vietnamese coffees out the Zen-like wazoo. Bite This:Noodle soup's a specialty herecheck out the curry seafood, Teo Chew duck and beef stew varieties, all priced under seven bones.
Tomorrow marks the official opening of Fleming's in the same building that houses PPA-as-speed-bag Susanna Foo's Gourmet Kitchen. The upscale national chain, known for using all USDA prime corn-fed beef, should fit right into the whole Radnor thing. Bite This: One particularly frightening item is the 40-ounce (yes, 40-ounce) porterhouse. Pair it with a classy 40-ouncer of a different variety (we suggest Steel Reserve), and you'll have to shower to get the upper-crusty stink off yourself.

Jonathan Makar hopes to have his 40-seat restaubar running by the end of this month. "It just makes sense for the neighborhood," says Makar, who nabbed friend and native son Johnnymac (Brasserie Perrier, Marigold Kitchen) to design the internationally influenced, but still American, small-plate menu. They plan to serve food until 1 a.m., with classic cocktails all night. Bite This: We recently checked out the white-beer-braised pork belly served with poached egg and charred-onion broth.

What's going in now? Angelina's Italian Restaurant. More info on the new tenants coming soon. Also, I'm just kidding about you, Passional. Please don't bamboo-crop me.
