Button, the Camden aquarium's 3,000-pound West African hippo, is celebrating her 10th birthday, and everyone's invited. The big-boned beauty will be chowing down on vegetarian birthday cake, made with yams, lettuce, carrots and celery, but partygoers can enjoy human-style cake and ice cream, plus fun games like Pin the Tail on the Hippo. Ages 2 to 12.
Native American Celebration

Necklace-making, storytelling, flute performances and arrowhead-making demonstrations are just some of the many events on the agenda at Longwood Gardens' annual Native American Day. Kevin Locke, aka Tokeya Inajin, is a Lakota skilled in the art of hoop dancing; his interactive performance gives kids the opportunity to learn the indigenous dance. Ages 3 and up.
Doll's Day Out

Back for its 12th year, this community event has everything a doll could ever want or need. Activities include a tea-and-doll fashion show, a clothespin doll craft station and vendors featuring the latest in doll fashion. Ages 3 and up.
Dr. Seuss Days at the Zoo
Ever wanted to see a Ham-ikka-Schnim-ikka-Schnam-ikka, an elephant-bird or a baboona? With the help of Read Across America, storytellers will be scattered throughout Philadelphia Zoo, narrating critter passages from the works of Dr. Seuss. Ages 3 and up.
Chinese New Year and Spring Festival Parade

This year's Chinese New Year celebration is coming to an end, but the fun isn't over yet. Grab the kids and enjoy Chinatown's firecracker shows, lion dancers and dragon parade. Ages 5 and up.
