Cars, corporations, homebuilders and even investment funds are all going green. Concern for our ecosystem is popping up all over the place, including on the arts circuit, where Jeanne Ruddy presents Earth Moves: Dance Gone Green. The program includes the premiere of her Oceans 1: Wetlands, a 25-minute ode to the South Jersey wetlands. Combining movement, text, video and photography concerning birds, sea life, landscape and man-made detritus, the piece offers creative commentary on a lovely but threatened locale. Costumes for Oceans 1 are made from natural fibers, and the original soundtrack features true sounds of nature, making this one green to the core. Complementing Ruddy's focus on the outside world, guest choreographer Jane Comfort's Short Term Memory is all about pushing boundaries of interior space, from the physical to the psychological. Sure, it's deep subject matter, but Comfort has a wry sense of humor, so this should prove a witty brain-tickler. Meanwhile, Songs Without Words, with choreography by Ann Reinking and music by Ruddy audience favorite Dudley Moore, is a moving expression of the many moods of first love.

April 12-21, $15-$25 ($75 opening night includes gala post-performance reception), The Performance Garage, 1515 Brandywine St., 215-569-4060, www.ruddydance.org.
