As of press time, a few reservations are still available for GlassWeekend, the internationally recognized symposium and exhibition of contemporary glass in Millville, N.J. The 2007 theme is "Divas of Glass." Day trippers can see menageries of fabulous glass and how the divas do it, all for the mere price of admission to WheatonArts.

Laura Donefer (New Orleans) richly adorns multicolored vessels with glass beads and other materials. Also featured, Jenny Pohlman and Sabrina Knowles (Seattle) collaborate on African-influenced masks and undulating sculpture. (There are open hot shop demos: Sat., 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3-5 p.m., and Sun., 11 a.m.-4 p.m.)

Also with admission: an exhibition of 60 major regional artists in the Museum of American Glass, international large-scale sculpture including work by Philadelphians Dan Cutone, Greg Nangle and Deborah Czeresko in the Glasshouse. For an additional $6, see displays by 20 major international glass galleries at the Events Center. Wear your walking shoes.

Sat. and Sun., July 14 and 15 ($9, $6 students; $6 for international glass galleries), WheatonArts, 1501 Glasstown Road, Millville, N.J., 800-998-4552, www.wheatonarts.org.
