Yixing Teapot Pendants

Although they're cheek-pinchin' cute, Junya Shao's necklaces are much more than charming little trinkets. The Phoenix-based ceramic artist packs the tradition of the Yixing teapot — a stoneware vessel made near the Chinese city — into each handcrafted piece. The earthy, rustic pots hang from colorful, beaded strings and beg for midafternoon crumpets. The originals are used for black or oolong tea, but we recommend these with some plunging necklines and understated earrings.
