Forget garden parties and the summer wedding circuit. At their annual Libertine Ball, neighborhood kink shop Passional gets your freak off its leash � and into some leather cuffs.

Now in its ninth year, the playful party is keeping it hot with a classic erotica theme. History buffs can play in the Roman bondage room; underworld fanatics will feel at home in a Victorian parlor; and re-enactors are performing a Demi Moore striptease tribute all night. Just trying to celebrate your foot fetish? Head to the basement. At midnight, Philly's own Alchemy Dance Company and Peek-a-Boo Revue bring on the burlesque before a freaky fashion show hits the runway.

Although mostly anything goes, costumes are required. (Show up in jeans, and they'll direct you to the erotic body painting booth for a makeover.) Nipple pasties and thongs are preferred, but cowboys, pimps, Peter Pans and even Count Choculas have stopped by. "This is not a place for people who aren't into it," says organizer and Passional "proprietrix" Kali Morgan. "There won't be any frat boys pointing and laughing."
