Big Fun For Little Ones

Wizards and Muggles Cooking Class

After potions class and Quidditch practice, little wizards can trade the wands for spatulas and work on their kitchen skills. The magical menu includes bangers and frog parts, Bertie Bott's beans, pumpkin trifle patties and chilled butter beer. No broom flying after the latter. Registration required. Ages 6 to 12.

Backyard Habitat

Philly is home to more wild animals than you think. During this workshop, li'l explorers will learn about the creatures in their backyards, how to safely interact with them, meet a couple of furry guests and create an animal habitat craft. Ages 5 and up.

Harry Potter Scavenger Hunt

Keep the Potter party going at this haunted scavenger hunt through the spooky and historic cemeteries of Old City. Beekeeping Day

Bees do more than sting! Put your fears to rest and learn about our busy, buzzy friends. Participants can suit up, investigate the hives and even extract some of the sweet stuff at this educational day. Honey sundaes will follow, and everyone goes home with their own jar.
