Q: I need to be informed of exactly what bars and clubs are letting you smoke. All of us smokers would like to know where we can go to spend our money and feel at home.
A: The Department of Public Health has graciously provided us with an updated list of establishments — both public and private — that have applied for and received official smoking ban waivers. Check out some select listings below. For a full list, visit www.citypaper.net/smoke. For health facts and information on the state's tobacco cessation programs, visit www.smokefreephilly.org.

While there may be other places in the city that allow smoking, we're only listing the establishments found on the Health Department's official exemption list. Please note that the list at citypaper.net/smoke does not include private venues with exemptions, such as social clubs, American Legion Posts, VFWs and Union Leagues.
