Culinary Mysteries Solved

Published: Nov 13, 2007

Q: I love a good deal. Where can I get some non-steam-table all-you-can-eat in the city?

A: If more is always more when it comes to your dinner, you can max out your belt notches at a few Philly eateries. First up is Aoi (1210 Walnut St., 215-985-1838), which boasts the hard-to-find all-you-can-eat sushi ($20) every night, 5-10 p.m. For $32, consume Maryland blue crabs, fries and coleslaw in mass quantities at DiNardo's (312 Race St., 215-925-5115) Monday nights, 5-8 p.m. Every Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. on, Bourbon Blue (2 Rector St., Manayunk, 215-508-3360) dishes up unlimited snow crabs, ribs and fries for $20.95. Zot (122 Lombard St., 267-639-3260) has a killer deal: Get a soup or salad, a glass of wine or beer and as many kilos of mussels as you can handle for $25 from 5 p.m. to midnight on Monday. If barbecue is what you seek, head north to Sweet Lucy's Smokehouse (7500 State Road, 215-287-1356) for endless ribs, chicken, pork and brisket ($17.95 includes a drink and dessert) on Mondays, 5-8:30 p.m. And hey, if you're really starved for ideas, there's always endless soup, salad and breadsticks ($5.95 lunch, $9.50 dinner) at the good ol' Olive Garden (1346 Chestnut St., 215-546-7950) seven days a week.
