Don't get fooled by his appearance in Scary Movie 3, rhyme on Christina Aguilera's 2002 album, or recent role as a mentor on VH1's Celebrity Rap Superstar. In the eyes of hip-hop fans, New Jeruz MC Redman can do no wrong. Since the so-called Funk Doctor Spock released his debut, Whut? Thee Album in 1992, he has established himself as an entertainer who just doesn't give a shit about trends or impressions. See his infamous MTV Cribs episode where he showed his normal-size, cluttered, dirty house complete with a cousin passed out on the couch. See also the Chappelle episode that had him floating in the toilet and his role as Jamal in 2001 pot flick How High. None of those non-musical endeavors have distracted Redman from creating the honest and humorous rhymes he's known for, with his most recent offerings being a couple of mix tapes and the March studio release Red Gone Wild (Island Def Jam). After he rocked the stage at Penn's Landing last year, Philly fans are expecting another dope performance. Reggie won't let 'em down.
