The minimalism and simplicity of his work is drawn from his Asian heritage and study of Chinese and Japanese potters. Runs through March 2. BEYOND TRADITION: YIXING TEAPOTS, Features pottery by Xiaoping Luo based in the tradition of yixing, which uses a special zisha clay found only in Yixing, China. The clay's ability to absorb flavors from the tea it contains makes it more seasoned with every pot brewed. Runs through March 2. Stegeman uses his photographs to create a series of photo collages, while Hernandez Hughes' images of Coney Island have been printed on metal for a structural feel. THAT'S WOMEN'S WORK, Features silkscreen prints and mixed-media work by local artist Laura Wagner, who is inspired by illustrations from 1950s cookbooks in which cheery housewives teach their obedient daughters the way to a man's heart.
