If you're a writer type, your copy of Anne Lamott's Bird by Bird is likely tattered and torn from overuse. Even if you're an atheist type, you probably like her prose on faith because of its purity and universality. Regardless of your type, Lamott — former alcoholic and drug user, single mom, honest, prolific and elegantly simple writer, Christian ... the string of adjectives could go on — has likely got something to say to you. Her latest book, Grace (Eventually): Thoughts on Faith, continues the ongoing discussion on spirituality she began in Traveling Mercies and Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith.
