3,945 Number of arrests made in the U.S. in 2006 involving the passing of counterfeit bills to individuals and businesses — resulting in a loss of $62 million — according to Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Economic Education Adviser Andrew Hill in the first installment of his new podcast series, "Moments in Money and Economics," available for download at philadelphiafed.org.
