"Baseball as America" Ballpark Special

The snacks affiliated with baseball are crucial to enjoying the hours we spend in the stands. In conjunction with its "Baseball as America" exhibit, the National Constitution Center is paying homage to grandstand food culture by tossing attendees a Sabrette hot dog, a soda and Cracker Jacks when they check out the 5,000-square-foot exhibition. Cooking Jewish

Judy Bart Kancigor honors her kin and culture with Cooking Jewish: 532 Great Recipes from the Rabinowitz Family (Workman), which features well-loved Jewish fare in addition to personal family favorites. Kancigor will offer Passover cooking tips and lead a discussion on preserving food traditions. Williams-Sonoma Cooking Classes: Fresh Pasta

Fresh pasta always tastes lighter than its store-bought, dried-out counterpart. Williams-Sonoma resident chef Margaret Schaum will demonstrate preparations of fettuccini, spaghettini and lasagna noodles. If you slept through Philly Beer Week, this tasting event can provide sweet, sudsy redemption.
