This event pairs Di Bruno's famed accoutrement with prize-winning local wines. Chester County's Paradocx will be pouring its 2005 Merge, a Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc blend that'll go well with the sweet sheep's milk Ewephoria. Other pairings include Chaddsford Winery's Pinot Noir Barrel Select with Cato Corner Farms' raw milk Hooligan and Twin Brook sparkling wine with the soft, runny St. Marcellin. Le Champignon de Tokio chef/owner Madame Saito is presiding over her fourth annual Amateur Sushi Making Contest. The beginner's bracket calls for four maki designs, while advanced contestants have to present a full-on sushi/maki arrangement. Judging (there are sushi-related prizes) is based on plate design and cleanliness. Remember to come hungry — every creation gets eaten. Registration required.
