While we're uncertain as to why we need Boston's division of the Big Moves troupe to teach a thing-or-three about circus-ing, we're pretty positive we need them to instruct us on the art of plus-size dance and movement. That's what dancer/founder Marina Wolf Ahmad's Big Moves troupe does — focus on larger-than-thin performers. And for 2008, Ahmad's Boston branch wants big peeps in the Big Top with a wealth of big-boned clowns, aerialists, muscle men and women joining in on Big Moves usual pleasantries like its Beantown resident poet Jaclyn Friedman and its bhangra hip-hop belly dancers. Boing.
