CCRA Chili Challenge
Wed., April 30, 6-8:30 p.m., $5

This Center City Residents' Association event is part community dinner and part chili cook-off. There are no specific guidelines for entries —just have it hot and tasty enough to impress the panel of judges, which'll include Marigold Kitchen chef Erin O'Shea and Audrey Claire/Twenty Manning owner Audrey Claire Taichman. Support the potluck by bringing your favorite dish. To ensure that they don't end up with 65 boule breads, CCRA is encouraging guests to potluck according to the first letter of their last name — A-K should bring appetizers; L-N are on salad; O-S will be responsible for side dishes and toppings; and T-Z has dessert duty. Philadelphia Brewing Co. is providing the beer and prizes. Registration required. Philadelphia Ethical Society, 1906 Rittenhouse Square, 215-546-6719, centercityresidents.org.
