Local artist Naomi Cleary recently rented 33 of her dishes to the new Lauren Graham movie taping in town, and that's not even our favorite part about them. (Although a little Gilmore Girls at dinner is always nice.) Cleary collects her porcelain pieces from flea markets and thrift stores and reinvents them in her Fishtown studio. A footed serving dish maintains its retro feel in orange-and-mint slip work, while casseroles get extreme makeovers in floral prints. Stay tuned for original handmade dishes in the near future, but until then, Cleary's one-scoop ice cream cup is perfect for some post-Luke's dessert.
