You might want that halter in four colors, but your closet isn't so psyched. In fact, it's stuffed, strained and cluttered thanks to your Sunday afternoon retail therapy and is in the process of forming an alliance with your wallet. Fortunately, Square Rootz has a solution to keep the peace. The Philly- and NYC-based collective is taking over the Rotunda with a clothing swap for ladies and gentlemen with threads to spare. In exchange for a bag of shoes, clothes, purses and accessories, attendees will get to "shop" through the unwanted wardrobes of others. Pieces that don't find a home (i.e. that ill-advised 2007 vest collection you were hoping to unload) will be donated instead of sentenced to a landfill.
Think formal vests were actually kind of cute? This is where Jeneen Nicole comes in. The wardrobe stylist (whose work is pictured) is coming down from New York for the day to help confused fashionistas sort through the treasures. "Everyone can't wear skinny jeans," she says. "I just like to help people look great. If you want to look like a magazine shoot, I can try to help you do that. But I will make you look better."
