Forget a shirtless Rocky sprinting up the stairs of the Art Museum. Forget Condom Kingdom and the myriad of lingerie shops that line South Street. And definitely forget that massive, phallic clothespin. Bottom line: Philadelphia isn't sexy enough. At least that's the case according to Brian Bangs, editor of the new Philly-based adult entertainment blog Popporn.com. Fortunately for all us buttoned-up sticks-in-the-mud, Popporn is trying to turn things around with its upcoming Party with Porn Stars Weekend.

Hosted in conjunction with TLAraw.com, the event will bring adult film stars Jessica Drake, Kaylani Lei, Ashlynn Brooke, Alektra Blue, Jack Napier and the subtly named Courtney Cummz for two nights and a morning (wink wink) of partying with fans. The weekend kicks off on Friday with a party at Club Risqué, where guests will be treated to dance performances followed by several hours of schmoozing. Saturday night, the troupe heads to Old City's National Mechanics for another night of meet-and-greets, dancing and photos. The weekend finishes on a more sex-and-the-city note with a private Sunday brunch for six lottery winners.

An enthusiastic Bangs hopes that the weekend will open the door for similar events and "encourage local folks not to be so uptight." He rants, "Nothing like this has ever been done! OK, well, it's been done, but not by us and not in Philadelphia. These studios and their contract stars represent some of the best in the industry." More to the point? "It gives us a good chance to get to see their zoobs up close."
