Do something for womankind this Saturday at Sisters, where girls who like girls who like girls (who are over 21) are hosting the Rock Your Boobs Bash. A benefit for this year's Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, the night comes complete with live music by '80s cover band Wicked Jezabel (think Cher, Go-Go's and Pat Benatar), a boobie-shaped Jell-O eating contest, a boulder-holder toss and a balloon boob race.
"Unfortunately, there have been so many customers throughout the years that have been diagnosed with this disease," says Denise Cohen, manager of Sisters. "We simply wish to create a fun event for all attending so everyone leaves the party with a positive feeling that they have supported a great cause." Proceeds from this one-night-only titty fest will help support a trio of local 3-Day walkers who need to raise $2,200 each to participate in the intense trek. Throughout the year, Sisters has been raising money for cancer relief with beef-and-beer parties, a Vegas Night and their "Dunk-a-Dyke" booth at the Philly Pride parade.
If you can't attend, you can always buy a raffle ticket (prizes include a Wii and a mountain bike) or donate directly to the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk at the3day.org.
