Dripping in honors and awards, North Philly-raised Rennie Harris is no longer confined to local fame. Representing the blending of street culture and idiosyncratic, unstructured movement through hip-hop, Harris has built a worldwide reputation — they love him in Paris just as much as we do here. For this weekend's performance he and his small troupe present 100NakedLocks, which centers on the concept that the whole world has more or less disappeared, leaving only 100 survivors. Harris looks to science fiction for inspiration here, ever fearless when it comes to boundaries, refusing to be held within anyone else's movement parameters. The one thing we can say for certain is that when this world première comes to the Kimmel, that big building is definitely going to rock.
