Mémé's David Katz will be joined by his mentor, chef Corbin Evans, for this special five-course reunion meal. Katz says that Evans, who ran a number of Philly restaurants (Pollo Rosso, Lillies) before relocating to New Orleans, is the reason he decided to cook for a career, so grab a table at one of the two seatings to see what student and teacher will whip up. Chef Joe Lakavage, who worked with the guys at Lillies, will also throw down in the kitchen for the special night. What's on the menu? Pre-Hispanic Menu at Xochitl

Xochitl chef/owner Dionicio Jimenez is offering a special menu in honor of Mexico's first president, Benito Juarez. The four-course "pre-Hispanic" selection includes indigenous eats like veal brains, frog legs and grasshoppers in addition to milder fare like Mexican broccoli cakes and chicken with pine nuts and pine cones. For an extra fee, you can get each course paired with authentic cocktails like the Tepache, tequila with fermented pineapple and piloncillo. Xochitl, 408 S. So far, you've stumbled your way through Philly Beer Week, pint firmly in hand. So why don't you slow it down and get back to class? Learn from brew importer Don Feinberg of Vanberg & DeWolf as he talks up a selection of rare Belgian beers. NCAA Tournament/St. Patrick's Day Specials at Smiths

In the time between Selection Sunday (March 15) and the beginning of first-round play (March 19), Smiths customers can submit NCAA Tourney brackets for a chance to win a cocktail party for 10 in the bar's Wii lounge. (Five runners-up will receive $25 gift cards.) Ongoing March Madness specials will include $1.50 wings and $10 Miller Lite buckets when games are on. What's more: On March 14 and 17, the bar will offer a St. Paddy's-themed "Green Dot Giveaway," where a green dot on your brewski wins you prizes.
