Mario and Natale Presta reconceptualized Amici Noi into Bocca about two weeks back. Chef Chris D'Ambro (Savona, Sovana Bistro) offers a small-plates menu that boasts eats like razor clams with red pepper; pork belly with lentils, bay leaf and jus; gnocchi with asparagus and ricotta; beer-battered olives with blue cheese and more. Beverage-wise, they do bottle service and a selection of specialty cocktails; they're open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. on. For the full menu and drink list, check out Meal Ticket.
Michael Clouston revamped one-half of P'unk Avenue's RoseLena's to open this breakfast/lunch/dinner spot. During the day, check out Kaffe Magnum Opus coffee and snacks like homemade cupcakes; the dinner menu, helmed by chef/CP contributor Nick Bronson, is built around comfort food, with plates like a Thanksgiving dinner platter (turkey, stuffing, homemade cranberry dressing) and mac 'n' cheese with roasted tomatoes. On Thursdays, check out vegetarian Indian dishes. They're currently cash-only; Michael's is open Wednesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and serves brunch Sundays from 7 to 3.
