The late, great '70s: It was an era of maxiskirts, Afros and more chest hair than we'd like to imagine. To break down this decadent decade, former Inquirer architecture critic/current culture hound Thomas Hine will discuss his book The Great Funk (Farrar, Straus & Giroux), while Secret Cinema curator Jay Schwartz will dig deep into his vaults, screening iconic '70s shorts in which shag carpet trumped the actors who stood on it.
