Neil Parish opened the Philly location of Kibitz Room — the flagship's over in Cherry Hill — earlier this week. The menu's close to the original, with plenty of breakfast options, a smoked fish selection (hand-sliced nova and lox; kippered salmon; whitefish), hot corned beef, pastrami and brisket, etc. — awe-inspiring portion sizes all around. Parish says there'll be plans for a monthly reservation-only steakhouse night, but for now, hours of operation are Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

WAITING LIST

Noble American Cookery
2025 Sansom St., 215-568-7000, noblecookery.com

May 4 looks to be the opening day for Noble, from Bruno Pouget (APO Bar + Lounge), Todd Rodgers and James Beard-nominated chef Steven Cameron. The trio, who previously earned attention for Blue in LBI, is working out of a bilevel space, which features room for about 100; nifty features include floor-to-ceiling windows that create an inside/outside feel for ground-level guests and alfresco bar seating facing into, not out of, the restaurant. Cameron's menu is big on sustainable seafood (batter-fried wild Atlantic squid with bibb lettuce, hearts of palm and grapefruit; rye-dusted Alaskan black sable with mussel chowder and a pea purée) and locally sourced meats (cage-free chicken with morels; grass-fed beef short rib with sweet onion rice pudding and fava relish). LITTLE VITTLES

The Northeast's Joker's Bar and Grille reopened as JT's Philadelphia House on April 25 (7312 Castor Ave., 215-342-1161, jtphiladelphiahouse.com). The 300-capacity space, a combo bar, restaurant and music venue, features a simple menu of finger foods ("F Bombs," fried mozzarella and Genoa salami), burgers, sandwiches and more.
