A tradition of the black church — testifying — gets an artful spin in dancer/choreographer Shavon Norris' New Edge Residency piece, where three men — Jumatatu Poe, C. Kemal Nance and Les Rivera — tell stories and bare their souls. All three gents are also performing artists, so movement, song and text animate their personal tales. Can I get a witness?
