Stand on one of this city's streets for long enough, and you're bound to overhear something worth repeating: Philly is full of stories, and Mighty Writers wants to make sure those stories get told. At this first event, presenters will include Story Slam winner Ingrid Wiese and mystery writer Anthony Bruno, and proceeds will benefit a new tutoring center/magic shop hybrid designed to get students excited about writing. Organizer Nic Esposito says he hopes the storytelling series "shows kids that you can be a writer, and that you can be a writer in this city."
