WAITING LIST

Fish
1708 Lombard St.

Sept. 8 is the tentative opening date for Fish, Little Fish chef/owner Mike Stollenwerk's new much-bigger baby. The space, which used to house Astral Plane, will accommodate about 45, with a 10-seat bar. Fish's menu, which will be accompanied by a liquor license, will differ greatly from the offerings at Stollenwerk's acclaimed Bella Vista BYO — food will be split up into "raw," "cold," "hot" and "sweet" categories, with raw bar eats, housemade specialties like hiramasa prosciutto and more conventional seafood entrées commingling. Stollenwerk's current sous chef, Chadd Jenkins, will take over Little Fish when this new spot opens.

Paul
1120 Pine St.

Effie and Christina Bouikidis' BYO, named after their late father, should open to the public right around July 4. Effie, who also owns Effie's Restaurant and, with Christina, Pine Street Pizza, says this spot will be a little more spacious than your average tote-your-own city spot, with a contemporary American menu from chef Adam Merlin (Georges'). Food's not finalized yet, but two of Paul's favorite eats — prime rib and crème brülée — should find a place on the menu, or at least as specials.

Zama
128 S. 19th St.

Loie Brasserie, currently run by 4 Corners Management, will cede the keys in September to chef Hiroyuki "Zama" Tanaka, who's cooked at Pod. (4 Corners will still own the property.) Zama, as the restaurant will be called, will feature between 80 and 90 seats and a clean, minimal "wa" aesthetic. Food-wise, expect sushi, small plates, a handful of entrées and big sake and wine lists.

LITTLE VITTLES

Percy Street Barbecue (900 South St.), from Steven Cook and Michael Solomonov , will draw chef Erin O'Shea away from her current gig at the restaurateurs' Marigold Kitchen. Chef Robert Halpern will take over the BYO starting Sept. 1; Percy's up for October.
